star wars visions —The creators of Star Wars have announced that there is going to be an Anime adaptation of star wars that will be on disney+ in September this year. Creators said that this anthology series will have a story in the Star Wars universe with new characters and old retro characters that we see in star wars. With the help of big Japanese studios like Trigger and Production I.G.
This was first announced last December, and is described as “an original series of animated short films” that “celebrates the Star Wars galaxy through the lens of the world’s best Japanese anime creators.”
As a fan of anime and star wars, my guess is that it will be a great anime and a huge turning point in the anime industry and become more mainstream worldwide and will also have a huge impact on animation creators all around the world.
The trailer gives fans a sneak peek into the films, each one as artistically different and creative as the last.
There are alien creatures fans have never encountered, sci-fi landscapes rendered in styles that Star Wars has never used before and characters that are sure to make lasting impressions.
During a panel at Anime Expo Lite (the largest anime convention in North America), the executive producer of Lucasfilm, James Waugh, had this say regarding the release: “We really wanted to give these creators a wide creative birth to explore the Star Wars galaxy.”
“We wanted this to be as authentic as possible to the studios and the creators. The idea was, this is their vision, riffing off all of the elements of the Star Wars galaxy that inspired them.”
